Air travel experience is being redefined thanks to Boss Design’s exclusive bespoke furniture that takes centre stage in Etihad Airways’ new Premium Lounges.
Commenting on the specification, Ross Brown, Head of Visual Communications and Brand Management at Etihad Airways said: “We had total confidence in the Boss Design creative team in designing a range of furniture that would replicate the same level of quality and attention to detail for which Etihad Airways is renowned. Every piece perfectly captures our design vision and offers guests signature moments of discovery and relaxation throughout each separate space.”
Etihad Airway’s global programme of new Premium Lounges currently takes in Sydney, Melbourne, Los Angeles, New York, Abu Dhabi and Washington DC. In Europe, they are located in Manchester, Frankfurt, London Heathrow, Dublin, and Paris.
Upholstered in deluxe leathers and fabrics, an assortment of armchairs, sofas, bar stools, dining chairs and executive armchairs adorn the lounge, dining areas, cocktail bar, and relaxation areas of the Premium Lounges.
The design of the furniture is in keeping with the airline’s latest branding “Facets of Abu Dhabi” which is also reflected throughout the interior of each lounge. Echoing the brand’s geometric design concept, the furniture also complements the exciting colour palette that is inspired by the UAE landscape; the overall effect is 21st century Abu Dhabi modernism.
