Boss Design recently collaborated with LOM architecture and design in the fit out for the National Bank of Oman (NBO).
The project aim was to deliver a contemporary furniture solution at the newly built flagship headquarters in Muscat, whilst still conveying the companies’ quality and excellence brand ethos throughout.
With the exterior design taking inspiration from the history of Oman, Boss Design and LOM architecture and design worked together to create the perfect interior furniture solution for NBO.
Meeting & Lounge Chairs
Bar Stools & High Tables
Atrium space needed to be carefully considered during the specification. Layla sofas upholstered in a sophisticated grey leather fabric, were included in the foyer area to incorporate style and comfort for more relaxed, one-to-one conversations.
Being an area also used for staff resource and semi-public space, several Kruze low back chairs on castors were also specified to offer a more formal, intimate work style area.
Each of the nine-levels of the building included a variety of Kruze lounge chairs, low back options and low coffee tables. As well as its clear visual elegant form, the Kruze collection was the perfect addition to any of the breakout zones in the NBO building due to its versatility, adaptability and flexibility.
Eating areas were not any less considered in the project, with a selection of both Agent high stools and high tables by Lyndon specified throughout the space. Bringing a relaxed yet comfortable feel, the Agent collection is often a
popular choice for work cafes where space is often at a premium. Alongside the Agent tables, the Orlo dining chairs also by Lyndon graced the dining space with options on a wooden leg and 4 star base.
Commenting on this project Stuart Downham, Global Account Manager at Boss Design said:
“Products from the Boss Design portfolio were specified in the NBO project due to the premium, high-end product choice that was required for the build. With Boss Design being highly recommended, we offered exactly what the client were looking for, as well as good communication from ourselves and LOM architecture and design to make the process as smooth as possible for the client.”
