Dan Chong named new President of Boss Design North America

Boss Design is pleased to announce that Dan Chong will lead the company’s operations in North America. As President, Dan will champion Boss Design’s vision of the workplace and its mission to manufacture high quality products designed to create destination spaces.

“It’s an honor to join Boss Design, a leader in addressing workplace challenges with an artful blend of design excellence, meticulous craftmanship and high-performance products. As a brand Boss has promoted the evolution of modern design in Europe and the organization brings this unique and inspiring vision to North America.”

EXPERIENCE AND VISION

Joining Boss Design, Dan brings considerable industry knowledge with his senior leadership credentials in the commercial sector. Having worked with companies including MillerKnoll, Knoll, HBF and Steelcase, Dan has a proven track record of developing brand and commercial strategies that drive organizations forward.

“We came into the North American market in 2015 and established ourselves in the marketplace. Dan’s experience will be an asset, but what really impresses me is his energy and drive. He understands the potential of our products and has the right personality to take us to the next level in North America,” says Brian Murray, Executive Chairman of the Boss Design.

AMERICAN MADE

From the Boss Design facility in High Point, North Carolina, Dan will champion the Boss Design brand across North America, highlighting the company’s design DNA to grow its customer base. He will oversee the localization of all Boss product lines – combining the best of European product design with American manufacturing skills, materials, and supply chains.

“The work of our internal design team, and collaborations with designers like Wolfgang CR Mezger, Mark Gabbertas and others, have given Boss a visual language that will resonate with architects and designers in North America. There’s enormous potential for Boss in this market and my main ambition is to tap into that,” says Dan Chong
