Lyndon bows to its heritage with new Maysa seating collection

When it comes to quality handcrafted commercial seating, no one does it better than Lyndon. Only this time, Maysa, the company’s latest soft seating collection, goes one step further to present a distinguished modular solution that combines contemporary design with handcrafted engineering, ergonomic comfort and exquisite upholstery.

Designed by Lyndon’s inhouse team, Maysa fulfils the brief for a modern and flexible deep-seated collection that is able to satisfy a number of spaces. However, it is Maysa’s upholstery and fine attention to detail that takes this seating to a whole new level; making it a must-have in high-end corporate and hospitality venues. With modular options also available, Maysa reflects the current trend for sectional seating that can be customized to suit a variety of settings and spaces.

Managing Director at Lyndon, Tim Armitt explains: “As a brand, we feel it’s important to stay true to our core values. Thus, when designing Maysa, we wanted to pay homage(?) to our heritage by incorporating the finest hand-stitched upholstery. The quality of the upholstery is second to none, and by paying close attention to the seam detailing, this collection encourages the use of two tone upholstery and fabric/leathers for a more distinguished look.”

Tim adds: “The end result is a stand out collection that will bring a touch of extravagance to lobbies and other high-end specifications.”

Using just five furniture pieces, Maysa can be specified as a freestanding seating solution and includes armchair and a choice of compact or large sofa. For added versatility, Maysa offers a modular chaise, corner unit, and corner table unit; enabling the collection to be tailored to suit multiple spaces, particularly corners and smaller rooms. Maysa’s extraordinary handcrafted appeal is further accentuated by two low coffee tables that complement the seating.

Tim concludes: “Whilst Maysa is an aesthetic triumph, it also boasts accomplished ergonomics that can be a challenge to create in low deep seating. As such, we are confident that this collection will be popular with designers looking to add a contemporary touch of luxury and finesse to their projects.”
