Whilst Boss Design enjoyed phenomenal success at last year’s NeoCon following the opening of its new and expanded showroom located in the Mart, the leading British commercial furniture manufacturer is focused on raising the bar even higher at this year’s event with a stunning line-up of new furniture.
Taking center stage at its stunning showroom will be the company’s new and revolutionary furniture collection named ATOM. Created by award-winning British furniture designer Simon Pengelly, ATOM represents one of the most versatile furniture collections on the market – a single family of products capable of furnishing an entire workplace. Consisting of modularized seating, tables, desks and screens, ATOM will help to create dynamic workplaces that enable everyone to work in their own way. Comprising of 14 individual pieces of seating, including seven high and seven low back options, ATOM empowers designers, allowing them to create an infinite number of configurations suited to a broad array of public, educational, and corporate environments.
The company is also set to unveil Mango – a personal workspace with an acoustic privacy screen and multi positional writing tablet for quiet and private working. Arm shelves and power options provide additional work surfaces and connectivity whilst dual density foams support the user with storage underneath the seat area. An upholstered return screen enhances the privacy and acoustic properties of the workspace and is available in left and right hand versions. It can also be added to the front of the unit to further enhance user privacy.
Demonstrating its handcrafted upholstery expertise is Manta. A compact and informal seating solution that is ideal for foyers and welcome areas in corporate receptions and hotel lobbies, Manta is a 2018 winner of a prestigious British Design Guild Mark, for excellence in design, materials, manufacture and function.
Also being displayed is Myriad – a diverse range of upholstered modular furniture that provides endless layout configurations – and the newly launched Agent collection. Featuring high table, dining and lounge chairs, this range meets the needs of hospitality and hotel environments, and even the corporate arena. Two lounge chair collections – the company’s iconic Kruze chair resplendent with new wooden base and painted frame options – and Marnie, which embodies contemporary luxury and style, are designed to bring a lavish touch to a variety of interiors. Completing the line-up is the company’s pioneering and award-winning Trinetic task chair that continues to make a significant impact on the task seating market.
Brian Murray, Owner and Founder of Boss Design, comments: “Our new flagship showroom helped create a real buzz at last year’s show, but this year we’re aiming even higher. Boss Design is inspiring designers, architects and specifiers across North America as a solutions-orientated company with a depth of range to satisfy a variety of projects, and we are confident that our exciting new additions will inspire even more.”
